We are a young team that decided to give hope to those people who are deprived of view. For over a year we are working on electronic devices for the blind and visually impaired. In parallel with these works we create plastic products for children and adults learning Braille. In this difficult time the disabled are those who do not receive adequate social assistance. Considering the cost of tools for the blind and visually impaired, it is clear that without own Ukrainian production of technical means for people deprived of view, there is no chance of adding a large number of blind and visually impaired to the world of the sighted.
Braille-Device Laboratory
Now the laboratory staff Braille devices has 7 employees who share a common goal, and this team more than a year deals with problems of the blind and visually impaired on a voluntary basis. Almost all the money earned on other projects, getting away to support development in the direction of Braille-Device. One of the latest component, which is not enough for a full prototyping devices became 3D-printer that was built by the team Braille-Device and has already started printing the first supporting teaching aids for the blind and visually impaired.
The main direction of research:
1) development of Braille device for reading electronic texts;
2) software and hardware teaching for blind and visually impaired to read Braille;
3) supporting educational tools for children and adults with visual impairments.
