We participate in the project “Inclusive friendly” ( «inclusive welcome”), organized by NGO “Vidchuy”, NGO “Seeing heart”, NGO “Right to Happiness” and the NGO “Institute for Social Initiatives”. The project “Inclusive friendly” provides for training for volunteers who are involved in projects related to persons with disabilities and others who implement projects to develop a tolerant society. As a result of the workshop, participants will receive the behavior of people with disabilities and special etiquette.
The training consists of three sessions that teach 4 coaches.

Our partner (Rashid Aliyev of Azerbaijan), speaking at the Festival of Robotics and Innovation “BestRoboFest” (Dnipro). Also, a new version of the toy Braille (Braille Teach) was introduced in the Dnipro to explore the Braille alphabet (toy Braille developed consistent efforts of the team Braille Device and the company BioniX). The device is designed for visually impaired children, using of the toy can be a simple and convenient method to study the designation Braille letters.

Braille Teach has voice guidance. The child simply press the appropriate button and the device it is voiced.

On July 4th the inclusive festival “Without limits” took place in Kiev in a park of T.G. Shevchenko. A number of people with disabilities came to this event to prove that in real life their abilities are unlimited.

Also at the festival was attended by Justice Minister Pavel Petrenko, social activist, politician, Commissioner President of Ukraine on the rights of people with disabilities, people’s deputy of Ukraine of III-VII convocation Valery Sushkevich, famous artists, athletes, stars of show business.

The Kyiv International Exhibition Center passed the eighth iForum (iForum-2016), which is considered one of the most significant events in the IT-industry in Ukraine. Our team was also presented with the presentations, where we showed our old developments (braille device, Braille blocks in several versions) and new models of toys for the blind.

Финальную неделю подготовки к Всемирному дню Белой трости мы смогли выдержать, не снижая темпа, и сам день провели на высоком уровне, не скатившись в пафосную клоунаду и позёрство. Хотя всё начиналось как обычно, с рекламы в соцсетях мероприятия BlindDayChallenge.
В итоге за неделю было 2 прямых эфира (на ТРК Киев) и 2 (а возможно и 3) снятых видеосюжета. Во всех сюжетах мы больше говорили о проблемах незрячих, чем о своём проекте, а одних журналистов (тот самый непонятный сюжет) хотели просто послать подальше, когда они поняли, что 15 октября в парке Шевченко мы не собираемся приставать к прохожим с предложением завязать глаза.
Теперь можно в спокойном режиме продолжить заниматься доработкой нового корпуса для устройства и новыми моделями кубиков.
